A son of a heavy equipment mechanic, I was born in Bremerton, Washington, and began my life with the Automobile in the early sixties. Spent a lot of time rebuilding wrecked cars in Dads shop. I learned to drive on a 1936 Desoto which I was able to Drift in the final turn in our drive. After graduating from Olympic College I found myself working on Uncle Sam’s Airplanes during Vietnam.

After returning to work at Keyport I purchased the first of a number of Corvettes (nine plus or minus a few). Soon I began restoring and showing them until I was bitten by the racing bug. It began with Autocross and ended after winning a Road Racing Championship in 91. Understanding that to make small fortune in Racing you need to begin with a large one, I opted to retire from the sport just prior to my Civil Service retirement.

To satisfy my need to tinker with the Automobile I took up the old car hobby. It began with a 1929 Air Cooled Franklin Sedan. Soon there was a 41 Buick, 25 Chevy, 41 Packard and a Parade of others.
Our current project is turning a 27 Chevrolet Truck into a Street Rod. We enjoy the hobby and love to go on tour with our 67 Skylark.

You might ask why are we doing this? We simply felt that there was a great deal of improvement that could be made in the area of local Media coverage. Accessibility and accuracy were the two main areas. So we will give it a shot and if it is well received and supported we shall soldier on.
